5 out of 5 starsVery pretty and exactly as described! I am excited to place it on the wall above my macaw's cage! It was also nice that she sent me info on the piece and the subject matter. I highly recommend it - I wish she did another one of a blue and gold macaw as well!

Draw the rough animal shape on the repurposed copper, brass or aluminum metal. Inspired by photos and illustrations. -
Cut it out with aviation snips. File and smooth rough edges. Gloves are a must! -
Chisels, punches, hammers, and mallets bring the form to life. This teardrop mallet helps to round the form. -
Polish the surface with ultra-fine steel wool. Some metals have naturally-aged verdigris and striped patinas. -
Etch the surface with a patina solution or wipe on an antiquing wax. Add protective coating, hanging wire, and glass eye
